Job Information

This position reports directly to the V.P of Technical Services and is responsible for technical execution of assignments including but not limited to project based work, client site maintenance routines, and the documentation preparation for Service Desk usage.

Level 3 Professional Services technicians will also handle technical issues escalated from the Service Desk Team, as necessary.

Technical Competencies:

  • Server hardware configuration (RAID, NIC teaming, Lights out Management)
  • Virtualization technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V
  • Windows based server configuration and implementation (Domain Controller, DHCP, DNS)
  • Basic Microsoft Exchange Server Deployment and Maintenance (Mailbox, CAS, Transport Services)
  • Basic Microsoft SQL Server Deployment and Maintenance (Memory tuning, backups)
  • Advanced desktop deployment and imaging processes
  • Basic firewall configuration and deployment
  • Network design (VLAN configuration, basic routing
  • Setup and configuration of enterprise wireless systems
  • Backup / DR system implementations and maintenance
  • Ability to deploy and document lines of business applications for client need
  • Understanding/troubleshooting of basic networking concepts and configuration

Responsibilities

  • Server and systems setup/configuration as assigned
  • Cloud migrations for key subsystems (email, file sharing, backup services)
  • Client onboarding and documentation preparation for Service Desk usage
  • Adherence to time frames assigned and dispatch schedule
  • Escalations from Service Desk as needed
  • Staying current with new technologies and growing skills
  • Acting as technical trusted advisor for assigned accounts

Additional Responsibilities

  • Job requires some off-hours or weekend work based on pre-scheduling or emergencies
  • Maintain up to date Time Entries for billing and documentation purposes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within relevant IT fields is desired
  • Bachelor degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred
  • Competency and Skills in the Technical Competencies listed above
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Able to compile, organize, and analyze complex data
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills; able to work on multiple tasks while meeting deadline
  • Detail oriented follows and implements corporate procedures and policies

Compensation:

  • Compensation will consist of two components that will total the “Targeted Annual Earnings” (TAE) for this position. The components will be the base salary and Incentive compensation.
  • The TAE range for this position will be $50,000 – $80,000 per annum depending upon experience
  • The ability to participate in the company profit sharing program
  • Participation in 401k plan with up to 4% matching after one year of employment
