Our story began in September 1979, when Dave Sahl launched Computer Ware (later renamed IT Solutions) from his garage in Modesto. His vision was clear: to bring cutting-edge computer hardware solutions to local businesses. What started as a modest operation quickly grew, building a reputation as a trusted technology partner dedicated to empowering businesses with the tools they needed to thrive.
As the technology landscape evolved, so did we. Over the decades, we transformed from a project and reactive provider into a full-fledged Managed Service Provider (MSP). This evolution was deliberate, driven by a commitment to anticipate and meet our clients’ changing needs.
A pivotal moment arrived in 2009 with the merger of Currie Computers and IT Solutions. Chris Currie, a respected figure whose Currie Computers was a staple in the Modesto community, brought with him not only deep expertise but also a strong ethos of community service. Though Chris is no longer with us, his vision continues to be an integral part of our company culture, a lasting testament to his impact.
Through four successful business successions, including the impactful merger with Currie Computers, we’ve remained agile and forward-thinking. Each transition has brought fresh perspectives while preserving the core values of integrity and client focus established by our founders. Our journey reflects a deep commitment to continuous improvement, adapting to new platforms, expanding our services, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
